Calfriend Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

Calfriend collects account information such as email address or phone number, password authentication data, Google or Apple sign-in provider identifiers when used, email verification status, and password reset metadata. When you use the nutrition tracker, Calfriend stores food log entries, grams, calories, macro totals, micronutrient totals, catalog identifiers, and daily nutrition history.

How We Use Data

We use account data to create and secure your account, verify email ownership, support Google and Apple sign-in, restore sessions, and provide password reset flows. We use nutrition data to show your current day totals, history summaries, and logged food details.

Storage And Security

Account and nutrition data is stored on Calfriend backend systems. Passwords are stored as password hashes. The mobile app stores an authentication session token securely on the device, and the web app stores a browser session token so you can stay signed in.

Sharing

Calfriend does not sell your personal data. We do not use advertising tracking in the mobile app. Service providers used to run the app, such as hosting, database, email, and infrastructure providers, may process data only to operate Calfriend.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account from inside the mobile app. Deleting your account removes your profile and saved nutrition history from Calfriend systems, except for information we may need to retain for security, legal, or operational reasons.
